[May24-2016] Student Field Work for locating Soreang Fault

A team from Geophysical Modeling and Inversion lab (part of EM Induction group) leave for Arjasari-Pinggirsari Area of Bandung Regency to conduct geophysical measurements for detecting Soreang Fault. This work is part of undergraduate and graduate thesis projects that is supervised by Dr. Wahyu Srigutomo.

In this field work, the team will perform Gravity and Magnetic method, Self-Potential and DC-Resistivity method and EM – VLF method for two weeks period (May 16th – May 28th 2016). The project will be followed by data processing session after the completion of the field work.

Below we present pictures that were taken on field work location, where students perform gravity and magnetic data acquisition along the Pinggirsari village road on Thusrday, May 19th 2016.
